On a beautiful fall day, Rachael and Kyle had a gorgeous Wedding at Club Lake Plantation!
Their wedding day was a joyful, family-centered celebration. From the beginning of the day to when we left, there were smiles on everyone’s faces.
Located in Apopka, Florida, Club Lake Plantation sits on 43 acres. Rachael and Kyle chose Club Lake as their wedding venue for the beautiful trees surrounding the venue. Stepping onto the property, it’s easy to see why they chose it for the presence of numerous majestic live oak trees. There is a perfect glow as the sun sets right through the trees, which we witnessed at Kyle and Rachael’s wedding! Club Lake offers two different wedding packages for couples seeking a rustic wedding vibe.
More Information About Club Lake:
The wedding venue package you choose will vary in what is included. At Club Lake Plantation, there is room for up to 130 guests; however, if you have a larger guest list, additional seating may be possible. Both wedding packages offer the opportunity for you to take engagement photos on the property with your photographer! The beauty of this concept is seeing how your engagement photos transform into your wedding day images. Also offered is an onsite bridal suite and groom’s room for both of you to get ready and accommodate your wedding party.
Kyle and Rachael decided against a first look and did a first touch instead. We recommend this option if you choose not to see each other before the ceremony but still desire to hold hands and talk. We put Rachael and Kyle’s backs against a wooden door on opposite sides. They were able to read personal vows to one another and hold hands.
A beautiful natural area surrounds the outdoor ceremony space, with wooden benches for guests, a brick aisle for the wedding party to walk down, and a wooden arbor for the couple to stand under as they get married. During their ceremony, it started raining, yet the rain stopped as soon as they walked down the aisle as husband and wife. They always say that rain is good luck on a wedding day!
After taking wedding photos at Club Lake Plantation, we moved into the reception hall to get the party started! The reception space is a large open area featuring rich-colored wooden walls with beams, a featured stone wall, and three large doors that can be open if weather permits. They had a single-tier cake for the two of them and different flavors of cupcakes for the guests. Kyle and Rachael’s wedding reception was fun, with guests having a great time!
Wedding day Attire:
Rachael looked stunning in her V-neck, sleeveless wedding dress from The White Closet Bridal. The bridesmaids all wore terracotta dresses that varied in style. Kyle wore a navy blue suit and completed his look with a cream-colored bowtie.
What better color palette for a fall wedding than terracotta, maroon, and green? They had all the fall vibes from their colors, flowers, and decorations. Colorful leaves had just started to turn in Florida, giving off warm tones.
We are so glad that Kyle and Rachael found us on The Knot so we could capture their beautiful day. View more from their Fall wedding at Club Lake Plantation!
