Intimate and Elegant Spring Elopement in Florida

Kelly and George were married on a lovely spring day in a beautifully intimate setting. It was such a joy to be there for their elopement in Florida!

We have known Kelly and George for a while as we captured Kelly’s sister’s wedding. As we’ve seen their love grow, we photographed their proposal and engagement photos. Due to some life changes, they decided to cancel their big wedding and have a small elopement in Florida with their closest family and friends.

They chose Lake Lily Park in Maitland, Florida, for the location of their ceremony. George and Kelly love the look of Lake Lily (who doesn’t?!), and the surrounding trees make it even more beautiful. As the evening drew to a close, we were treated to the prettiest sunset. A magical glow emanated from their photos as the sun looked through the trees!

Kelly had her mother by her side as she walked down the aisle. They had their siblings stand with them during the ceremony, and Kelly’s father officiated the wedding. Lake Lily was the setting for their Christ-centered wedding ceremony. In addition to worshipping and praying, their guests prayed over this wonderful couple.

We love being Florida elopement photographers and being a part of such special moments. It was a joyous time for everyone at Kelly and George’s elopement, and there wasn’t a single person there who wasn’t smiling the whole time. They have such a beautiful connection, and it is evident that George and Kelly love each other deeply.

Kelly had a beautiful bouquet filled with white roses, greenery, and a hint of red florals giving a boho vibe. They both looked elegant in their wedding attire. George wore a gray suit jacket with black pants, and he complimented Kelly perfectly. She wore a simple, off-the-shoulder dress that fit her stunningly and paired it with a gorgeous cathedral-length veil and the cutest chunky heels.

It’s been an honor to photograph so many memorable moments in their lives. The couple also chose us to capture their maternity session and a newborn photo shoot of their daughter since their elopement. It’s crazy how time flies because we’re getting ready to photograph her 6-month session soon! George and Kelly are clients who come back to us for all their special moments in their lives, and we appreciate that! Seeing our couples when they’re newly engaged and building their own lives and families is so rewarding!
