The Howey Mansion, a 100-year-old gem tucked away in Central Florida, has the kind of old-world charm that makes you stop and soak it all in—grand architecture, stunning arches, and a warmth that feels like stepping back in time. It was the perfect setting for a wedding filled with love, faith, and deep family connections.
A Ceremony Full of Meaning
Abigail & William’s ceremony was officiated by Abigail’s childhood pastor, making it even more special. One of the most unique moments of their beautiful day? Their planting ceremony, where both families came together, symbolizing not just the joining of two people but the blending of two families. I loved how unique it was to work together to plant something that this couple will be able to cherish in their home. There were tears, laughter, and a feeling of togetherness that was so beautiful to witness.
Rain, Romance & Unforgettable Portraits
With a hurricane on the horizon, these two embraced every moment—including the rain. Their portraits in front of their vintage getaway car, under umbrellas, looked straight out of a movie. We squeezed in some gorgeous outdoor shots before the storm arrived, making the most of the mansion’s elegance and charm.
Thoughtful Touches & a One-of-a-Kind Reception
Every detail of their day reflected who they are—thoughtful, intentional, and full of love. Family photos displayed on the grand piano of each person in their family at their own weddings, stunning florals, and instead of a traditional cake, a donut tower that felt so them. Their reception under a clear tent, lit with twinkling lights, was pure magic.
