Some wedding days just stick with you—and Nicole and Danny’s elegant Bella Collina wedding is one I won’t forget anytime soon. From the very beginning, I could tell how much heart they poured into this celebration. Their wedding wasn’t just beautiful (though it absolutely was—it felt like we were in Italy!), it was full of meaning, connection, and so many sweet, emotional moments.
These two have been together for five years, and from the way they look at each other, you’d think they just fell in love yesterday. They met on Hinge and had their first date at The Wharf in Fort Lauderdale—fast forward to a proposal under cherry blossom trees in New York City, and here we are, celebrating their wedding surrounded by all the people they love most.
A Bella Collina Wedding That Felt Like a Dream
Bella Collina was the perfect setting for their vision of a “simple, elegant” wedding. With its Tuscan-inspired architecture, cobblestone paths, and sweeping lake views, it has this magical way of making you feel like you’ve stepped into another world. It was exactly the vibe Nicole and Danny were going for, and everything about the day reflected that—timeless, joyful, and filled with purpose.
When it came to planning, they told me how much it meant to them that their guests had the best time. And they absolutely did. One of the most special things about this day was seeing all their family and friends—from both sides—come together, meet for the first time, and instantly click. New friendships were made, old ones deepened, and the energy was just so warm and full of love.
Personal Details & Heartfelt Traditions
Their day was rich in personal touches and meaningful traditions. From Jewish wedding customs like the Ketubah signing, wine under the chuppah, and the breaking of the glass, to moments like Nicole dedicating her bouquet to her mom instead of doing a traditional toss—it all felt so intentional and deeply special.
Nicole also did first looks not just with Danny, but with her dad and bridesmaids too. Each one had its own emotional weight and made for some of the sweetest moments of the day.
And don’t even get me started on their first dance under the market lights and chandelier! Pure magic.
Favorite Moments
When I asked what part of the day they’d relive, neither of them could pick just one moment:
- Danny said the ceremony, Ketubah signing, and seeing Nicole walk down the aisle were his favorites.
- Nicole loved soaking in all the toasts and speeches, and dancing the night away with their people.
I saw that joy firsthand. The way they were so present with each other and their guests—it was the kind of celebration that felt like it went by in a flash, but left a lasting mark.
Nicole and Danny got to see their highlight gallery while they were still on their mini-moon—and their reaction was one of those moments that just fills my heart to the brim. They shared:
