Montana and Christian’s Howey Mansion Wedding was absolutely stunning. It’s hard to believe that their wedding took place in December, with the spring vibes present on their big day!
These two met back in sixth grade, but they were too shy to talk to one another. Finally, four years later, they started talking to each other in chemistry class. Christian loves to say they found chemistry there! What’s better than one proposal?! Two proposals! After being together for over ten years, Montana proposed to Christian while in Barcelona visiting a cathedral. Because she proposed first, Christian decided to surprise her with a pride and prejudice-themed proposal.
The Howey Mansion:
This historic and charming wedding venue is located in Howey in the Hills, Florida. Built in 1925, the Howey Mansion features 20 rooms and over 15 acres of land. Over the years, it had become abandoned until the new owners bought it in 2017. It took nine months to bring this Florida landmark back to life. Montana and Christian chose this wedding venue in Howey in the Hills because of all the historic beauty and architecture.

Christian and Montana shared an emotional first look. As soon as Christian turned around and saw how stunning Montana looked, they began to cry. Their first look is one of the most intimate and emotional moments we’ve captured. He gave her a lovely necklace that she would wear that day during their first look. They shared a private dance and simply soaked up this moment before all the day’s craziness began. Their precious pup, Rory, joined in for portraits during their wedding photos at Howey Mansion. It is evident how much these two love and adore one another!
Outdoor Catholic Wedding Ceremony:
The front lawn terrace was the location for their momentous ceremony. Montana and Christian both wept when she walked down the aisle. Sometimes couples worry that they won’t get the same feeling walking down the aisle if they do a first look before the ceremony. These two prove that emotions can still be strong despite having already seen each other! Their Catholic ceremony was very personal and intimate.
The Howey Mansion Outdoor Wedding Reception:
Their wedding reception was held outside underneath bistro lights. It was a whimsical affair, with the centerpieces being gorgeous vibrant flowers. Their three-tiered wedding cake was adorned with colorful decorations in keeping with their wedding decor. After the main events of the reception were over, everyone enjoyed the dance floor!
Christian and Montana’s wedding day was a dream come true! We loved meeting their dog Rory after hearing how special she is to them. Enjoy some of our favorites from their Howey Mansion wedding!
